RESERVED PICTURE RECORDING SYSTEM, PORTABLE TERMINAL UNIT, RECORDING DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING MOVING IMAGE CONTENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for reproducing a program recorded by a recording device with a stable video signal regardless of time and place in a portable terminal unit reserving picture recording.

SOLUTION: A reserved picture recording system has the portable terminal unit and a recording device. The portable terminal unit comprises a communication means connected to the Internet and a LAN, a storage means for storing moving image content; a recording reservation request means for reserving the picture recording of a television program at the recording device via the Internet, and a moving image content acquisition request means for requesting the acquisition of the moving image content regarding the recording reservation to the recording device via the LAN. The recording device comprises a communication means connected to the Internet and the LAN, a conversion means for converting the moving image content regarding the recording reservation request from the portable terminal unit to a format that can be reproduced by the portable terminal unit, and a moving image content transmission means for transmitting the converted moving image content to the portable terminal unit via the LAN.
