<p>A method and a system for downloading multimedia contents are provided to enhance the use efficiency of a network by transmitting multimedia contents to multiple users one time. A multimedia contents providing server(150) includes various multimedia contents. A mobile terminal(110) is connected with the multimedia contents providing server(150) to select desired multimedia contents, and receives the selected multimedia contents. In detail, the multimedia contents providing server makes a reservation of a transmission schedule for transmitting the multimedia contents selected by a user of the mobile terminal(110), and transmits the selected multimedia contents through an arbitrary broadcast network according to the schedule, and the mobile terminal(110) receives the multimedia contents.</p> |
