OPTICAL ELEMENT COUPLING LOCK KEY AND OPTICAL TRANSMITTER-RECEIVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent disconnection between an optical fiber plug and an optical transmitter-receiver with respect to a lock key that maintains coupling of the optical fiber plug with an optical element connector used for transmission of a digital video signal for example.

SOLUTION: The lock key is equipped with: an inserting part 22 that regulates, in the optical transmitter-receiver 1, the displacement of an elastic piece 31 engaging with a projection 48 on the surface of an optical waveguide plug 40 which is inserted into the optical transmitter-receiver; a locking part 26 that is installed in the tip end of the inserting part 22 and engaged with the wall of the optical transmitter-receiver 1; and a clamping part 21 that is connected with the inserting part 22.
