<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authentication device which can be operated with flexibility without causing an increase in costs or complication. <P>SOLUTION: The authentication device is constituted so that individual authentication of each object person for authentication is performed by an authentication processing part by comparing an image of the object person for authentication, which is drawn from the images picked up by a pickup part for entrance into a room or by a pickup part for leaving the room, to registered information of a storage part. Then a level value indicating security authority of each object person for authentication is summed up by a level-value calculation part, and a final judgement for approval/disapproval of authentication is made by a judgement processing part by comparing the sum to a predetermined threshold. Then the authentication device is constituted so that the level value of the object person for authentication who is allowed to enter the room is stored and that the level value is used for the judgement for approval/disapproval of authentication at the time of leaving the room, and for the judgement for approval/disapproval of authentication at the time of additional entry into the room. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
