PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device capable of switching a plurality of kinds ofγcorrection values with simple circuit constitution, without having to use software control forλcorrection. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 10 is equipped with a liquid crystal cell 11 which has a plurality of row lines and a plurality of column lines, a gate driver 17 which drives the respective row lines, a source driver 16 which drives the respective column lines, and a reference voltage generating circuit 15 which generates a plurality of VR<SB>0</SB>to VR<SB>8</SB>, by dividing the reference voltage Vref supplied from a reference voltage switching circuit 14 through resistances and supplies the VR<SB>0</SB>to VR<SB>8</SB>to the D/A converting circuit of the source driver. The reference voltage switching circuit 14 includes a circuit which switches and supplies the reference voltages Vref, corresponding to a plurality ofγcorrections on aγ-correcting gradation reference voltage generating circuit 15.
