PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and finely cut foliage and to unload the cut foliage in an easily driable state to a field since there is a problems that even if foliage transported in a standing state is fed to a cutter, it is slipped through between cutting disks. SOLUTION: The foliage conveying apparatus has constitution that in a foliage treatment apparatus with which foliage of a crop is nipped by a pair of right and left endless nipping belts, pulled out and conveyed upward to the rear of a main body, fed to a cutter at the rear part of the machine body and shredded to small pieces, the cutter is obtained by equipping a pair of right and left revolving shafts in the longitudinal direction of the main body with a large number of cutting disks at intervals, respectively, the rear ends of the nipping belts are faced to the upper part of the cutting part of the superimposed blade edges of the cutting disks, a pair of right and left foliage sending devices having revolving feed pawls are arranged at the rear upper parts of the nipping belts, the revolving speed of the feed pawls is made higher than the conveying speed of the nipping belts and the foliage of the nipping belts in an attitude of being backward pulled down is fed to the cutting part.
