<p>An improved windmill for harnessing kinetic energy in wind flow comprising of a housing (1) on the ground and supporting thrust bearing (4) with gear (5) at its top, a shaft (10) mounted in thrust bearing (11) at bottom end on its top end, a hollow pole (9) surrounding shaft fixed to the gear of thrust bearing at its lower end and rotably connected to a beraing provided at the top end of the pole in an equally spaced apart manner, all adopted for rotating along with pole in the same horizontal plane due to wind flow striking the vanes (12) , eacht of the vanes consisting of a rigid frame (13) having opening for window, a uniderectional of flap valve hingedly provided to frame for each window/ opening forming self opening and closing, an output shaft fixed to gear of thrust bearing, for transmitting rotational mechanical energy.</p> |
