The device has a tactile faceplate (8) with an active face (7) opposite to which matrices (4) of an equipment`s (2) command/control buttons (3) are arranged, where the buttons are selectively and manually actuated by a user to produce an acoustic wave propagated on the face. The faceplate has sensors (11), arranged on a plane part of an electronic part, detecting the acoustic wave. An electronic processing unit is connected to the sensors by a printed circuit (6) to locate a zone of the face from where the detected wave comes and to control/command the equipment associated to the zone.
