PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digger designed to perform digging operation without damaging harvests. SOLUTION: The digger 1 is equipped with a transporting conveyor 30 at the rear of a digging blade 5 and a transverse transporting conveyor 40 slidable right and left and normally and reversibly rotatable at the rear of the transporting conveyor 30. Furthermore, the transporting conveyor 30 is rotated by power transmission from a driving shaft 10 to a driven shaft 11 and a speed changing means 90 variably changing the rotational speed of the transporting conveyor 30 is provided.
