IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF ADJUSTING IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve a load imposed on an operator attended with read adjustment of an image read section and print adjustment of a print section.

SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: a scanner 200 for reading an image of an original placed on an original platen; and a printer 100 for executing printing on the basis of image data of the original obtained from the scanner 200. A main control section 401 executes the read adjustment of the image read section on the basis of image data of a reference chart included in adjustment image data obtained by consecutive reading of the reference chart by the scanner 200 and a test print sheet obtained by the printing at the printer 100 arranged in the subscanning direction on the original platen in this order and executes the print adjustment of the printer 100 on the basis of the image data of the test print sheet included in the adjustment image data and read by the scanner after the read adjustment of the scanner 200.
