<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector 10 capable of reducing cross-talk, improving characteristic impedance, and skew (difference of propagation delay time) as well. <P>SOLUTION: The connector 10 comprises a plurality of signal contacts 14 and ground contacts 16 having contact parts 141, 161 contacting objects to be connected 60, and connection parts 143, 163 contacting connection objects 70, a housing 12 having an insertion hole 32 in which an opening for fitting 22 and an insertion opening 26 in which the objects to be connected 60 and the connection objects 70 are inserted respectively, signal contacts 14, and ground contacts 16 are held and arrayed, and two sheets of shielding plates 18 arranged at insertion opening 26 side in parallel with each other so as to pinch the connection object 70. A means for holding the shielding plates 18 is arranged on the ground contacts 16 or the housing 12, and a contact 38 contacting the shielding plate 18 is formed on the ground contacts 16, and necessary number of signal contacts 14 are arranged between the ground contacts 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
