<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a color filter by which a pixel barrier wall with a smooth surface can be stably formed in a small number of steps and the surface resistance of a transparent electrode (ITO) formed on the color filter can be decreased, to provide a color filter having low surface roughness of a pixel barrier wall obtained by the above method, and to provide a liquid crystal display element having the color filter and a liquid crystal display apparatus having the above liquid crystal element. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a color filter having two or more pixel groups in different colors from each other on a substrate, in which each pixel constituting the pixel groups is separated from each other by a deep-color barrier and each pixel is formed between pixel barriers by depositing drops of a color liquid composition between the pixel barriers, includes a photosensitive layer forming step of forming a layer comprising a deep-color photosensitive composition containing a photoacid generator, a crosslinking agent which crosslinks by an effect of the photoacid generator, and a colorant on a substrate; an exposure step of exposing the photosensitive layer to cure an exposed region; and a developing step of removing an unexposed photosensitive layer to form a pixel barrier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
