<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint for allowing easy work for connection between a drain main pipe and a drain pipe through a floor. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe joint 11 is provided for connecting the underfloor drain main pipe 12 arranged on a foundation 52 vertically rising therefrom to the drain pipe 13 for water facilities 53 installed on the floor. It comprises a drain main pipe mounted member 14 formed of a hard material and mounted at the upper end of the drain main pipe 12, and a drain pipe connection member 15 formed of an elastic material for holding the drain pipe 13 at its lower end. The drain main pipe mounted member 14 consists of a small diameter cylinder portion 14a mounted at the upper end of the drain main pipe 12 and a large diameter cylinder portion 14c continuously provided at the upper part of the small diameter cylinder portion 14a via an enlarged cylinder portion 14b. The drain pipe connection member 15 consists of a mounted cylinder 15a mounted on the large diameter cylinder portion 14c, a holding cylinder 15b into which the lower end of the drain pipe 13 is inserted, and an annular elastic expansion portion 15c vertically expandable under the floor for connecting the holding cylinder 15b to the mounted cylinder 15a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
