PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction path of an axial flow blower through which fluid is flown in an intermediate casing without variations in pressure, and to provide an axial flow blower. SOLUTION: The suction flow passage is equipped with a suction casing connected to an upstream side duct through a first opening provided on the upper side and to an intermediate casing through a second opening provided on a horizontal direction side, and at least one branch pipe connected to at least one third opening branched from the upstream side duct and provided to the suction casing.
