PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide at low cost a winding core for winding device which realizes shortening of manufacturing time and improvement in quality and yield by a characteristic shape of the winding core and a compact mechanism. SOLUTION: Two winding cores are respectively installed on both side opposed holders; one is a fixed side crescent-shape winding core and has a position control device and a rotation transmission mechanism. The other is a moving side round-shape winding core, and transports a separator directly to the inner circular arc of the crescent-shape winding core by movement of the round-shape core, and is capable of final winding as it is. When pulling out the winding cores from the battery element after winding, the round-shape core which has fewer contact part wound by the core is pulled out firstly, then, when the battery element after winding is pulled out from the crescent-shape core, there is caused a slight gap in the crescent-shape core as the round-shape core is already firstly pulled out. That is to say, when the round-shape core is pulled out, and in either case of pulling out from the crescent-shape core, the pulling out can be carried out easily without having no shifting in the battery element member after winding.
