A time voice guide method of a car audio system is provided to inform a current time as a voice when a driver presses a time guide switch located in a steering wheel. A control unit sets a time voice guide period time(311). The control unit counts a time voice guide time(313). If the counted time voice guide time is the time voice guide period time, the control unit reads current time data stored in a storing unit(315,317,319). The control unit synthesizes time guide voice data corresponding to the time data, and outputs the synthesized data as a voice(321).
