An underground vacuum consolidation dehydration promotion method of the soft ground using a cylindrical perforated-pleated drain and a vacuum cutoff membrane of a surface clay layer is provided to reduce the period and cost of construction, to dewater the soft ground quickly and continuously and to promote the improvement of the soft ground by constructing a cylindrical perforated-pleated drain, a dehydration draft unit, a suction pipe and a discharge pipe in a single line. An underground vacuum consolidation dehydration promotion method of the soft ground using a cylindrical perforated-pleated drain and a vacuum cutoff membrane of a surface clay layer comprises the steps of coupling a dehydration draft unit(6) to the top of a cylindrical perforated-pleated drain(5), laying the cylindrical perforated-pleated drain engaged with the dehydration draft unit to the center of a socket type cap and a draft guide pipe(9) of the dehydration draft unit under the soft ground(12) and installing a folding pipe(10) to be projected. Hereon a surface clay layer with the dehydration draft unit functions as a vacuum cutoff membrane(13) composed of high density clay to make the cylindrical perforated-pleated drain buried under the soft ground at the state of vacuum consolidation, and the front of the folding pipe projected to the surface clay layer is fixed to a discharge pipe(15) installed separately by a coupling(11) with a packing to couple with a screw pipe(14a) installed to a suction pipe(14) for inhaling and discharging using a vacuum pump(16). |
