PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input/edit device of sewing data capable of automatically searching and editing moving quantities within the predetermined range between adjacent needle dropping positions. SOLUTION: The input/edit device of sewing data comprises an arithmetic means 11 for calculating the moving distance between every adjacent pair of the needle dropping positions, a judging means 12 judging whether or not the moving distance calculated by the arithmetic means 11 is the predetermined quantity, a display means 5 judging which needle dropping position when judged to be the predetermined quantity by the judging means 12, and a control means 8 carrying out editing operation to the needle dropping position shown in the display means 5.
