METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LIGHT GUIDE FOR KEYPAD

A method for fabricating a light guide for a keypad is provided to obtain slim and compact mobile terminal and easily control luminance of backlighting by freely selecting a reflection pattern. The first mold pattern(M1) that includes a light reflection shaping unit(1) having a plurality of pattern shaping parts(1a) in order to form a reflection part each including a pattern formed on a rear surface of a main body(10), and includes a plurality of suction holes(SO) for air forming is prepared(S100). The second mold pattern(M2) that corresponds to the first mold pattern(M1) and shields an inner surface of the first mold pattern(M1) is prepared(S102). A main body shaping film(10a) for forming the main body(10) is disposed on the first mold pattern(M1)(S104). The second mold pattern(M2) is disposed on or combined with the first mold pattern(M1) to shield the main body shaping film(10a)(S106). The second mold pattern(M2) is heated to apply heat to the main body shaping film(10a) to slacken it(S108). Air is sucked through the suction holes(SO) of the first mold pattern(M1) to allow the pattern shaping parts(1a) to form a pattern on the main body shaping parts(1a) to form a reflection part(S110). The second mold pattern(M2) is removed from the first mold pattern(M1), the main body shaping film(10a) is taken out and cut into a size of a unit light guide corresponding to a keypad of a mobile phone and finished to thus complete a light guide(S112).
