Provided are an image processing device capable of obtaining a satisfactory observation image, an endoscope device and a color balance adjusting method. The image processing device comprises an image signal input unit for inputting image signals of an object image taken at an imaging unit and including at least an image of a color balance adjustor. Further comprised is a control unit for calculating the value of a coefficient to change the brightness of the image signals, on the basis of both a correction value for correcting the characteristic dispersion, as displayed in a correction value display unit of the color balance adjustor, and a brightness value of the image of the color balance adjustor. Still further comprised is a color balance processing unit for performing the color balance adjustment by changing the brightness of the image signals on the basis of the value of the coefficient.
