PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a capsule for ultrasonic diagnosis which makes a booster circuit so smaller as to enable the chip integration of a booster circuit the same with other chip integrable electronic circuits. SOLUTION: The capsule for ultrasonic diagnosis comprises an ultrasonic oscillator which transmits or receives ultrasonic pulses for acquiring ultrasonic tomographic images and a built-in power source part of the capsule for supplying a voltage for driving the ultrasonic oscillator and is made guidable into a celom. The capsule for ultrasonic diagnosis is also provided with a switching part 61 which makes a supply voltage to be supplied from the built-in power source part of the capsule pulsate to generate a pulse voltage, a Cockcroft-Walton circuit 62 as capacitor/diode part for boosting the pulse voltage generated by the switching part 61 and a pulse generation circuit 63 which makes a pulse timing signal for driving the ultrasonic oscillator 21 overlapped with the booster voltage from the Cockcroft-Walton circuit 62 to generate a drive pulse signal.
