<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight apparatus which prevents a damage of an LED when an outer shock is given and has an excellent luminance property by guiding a light of an LED efficiently to an inside of a light guide plate. <P>SOLUTION: A backlight apparatus includes a frame 11 which has a shape of a box and of which an upper side is open, a light guide plate 2 held on the above frame 11, and a light source 3 placed on the opposite side of a side face 2a which becomes a light receiving part of the light guide plate and an elastic holding part which holds the light guide plate 2 pushed and fixed to the side of the light source 3 in an inner wall surface of the frame 1 facing the side face 2b opposite the side face 2a which becomes the light receiving part of the light guide plate 2, and the light guide plate 2 is adhered to the light source 3 by using elasticity of the elastic holding part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
