PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radio communication equipment and a radio communication system for improving the reliability of driving support. SOLUTION: This radio communication equipment (100) is radio communication equipment having a communication means (30) which communicates with another radio communication equipment. This radio communication equipment (100) is provided with a communication area setting means (43) for setting a first communication area where it is possible for the communication means (30) to acquire information from another radio communication equipment and a second communication area where it is necessary for the communication means (30) to acquire information from another radio communication equipment for realizing the driving support of a vehicle on which the radio communication equipment (100) is loaded, a decision means (43) for deciding whether or not the first communication area covers the second communication area and a notification means (50) for notifying a user that driving support is not available, or that the driving support is limited when it is decided that the first communication area does not cover the second communication area by the decision means (43).
