PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass block wall surface structure capable of providing base isolation performance without impairing the aesthetic appearance of a wall surface and a construction method for a glass block wall. SOLUTION: A glass block panel 23 comprises the glass blocks 24 orderly arranged in the horizontal direction within the range of 1200 mm in height, a frame 25 surrounding the glass blocks 24, and joint parts 26 disposed in clearances in the frame 23 and fixing the glass blocks 24. The glass block panel is stacked in a frame body 22 formed in the opening part 21a of a skeleton 21 through a viscoelastic material 28 between the frames 25. This construction method for the glass block wall comprises a step for stacking the glass block panel 23 in the frame body 22 formed in the opening part 21a of the skeleton 21 through the viscoelastic body 28 between the frames 25, a step for holding the glass block panel 23 on the frame body 22 horizontally movably in a direction parallel with the wall surface 20, and a step for filling a sealing material 31 in the joint parts 26.
