VECTOR NETWORK ANALYZER, ITS CALIBRATION METHOD, CALCULATOR AND SUBSTRATE FOR STANDARD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vector network analyzer (VNA) capable of calibrating an error factor of a connector without measuring the through characteristics of the connector including a probe etc., its calibration method, a calculator, and a substrate for a standard. SOLUTION: The calculator 3 of the VNA 1 first calculates the S parameters for the parts from the VNA 1 to the ends of the measurement cables 9-11 with respect to measurement cable. Then, the calculator 3 calculates a plurality of S parameters for each of connectors 13-15 based on the S parameters for the part from the VNA 1 to the ends of the measurement cables 9-11, and the short, open and loaded characteristic data of the connectors 13-15, and selects one S parameter corresponding to the measurement frequency from among the calculated plurality of S parameter.
