PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge device reduced in small impact shock in opening and closing capable of reducing the number of components and simplifying its structure. SOLUTION: This hinge device of portable electronic equipment includes a shaft provided with an external screw on its one end, a pole-shaped driven portion having a cam face at its one end, and a pole-shaped cam provided with an internal screw engaged with the external screw of the shaft inside thereof and having a cam face at its one end, and an elastic member energizing so that the cam face of the driven portion and the cam face of the cam are closely kept into contact with each other.
