A terminal with buttons having a display function and a display method therefor are provided to display plural characters determined by operation results of the plural buttons equipped in the terminal on the corresponding plural buttons, thereby realizing working convenience of a user who operates the buttons. Plural buttons(110) display plural characters by responding to a control signal. A controller(100) generates the control signal which instructs displaying of characters shown by character data corresponding to operated results of the buttons(110) among predetermined character data. The plural buttons(110) display plural consonants or plural vowels of the Korean character.
