Provided is a method for preparing aryl resin obtained by radical polymerizing monomers in the presence of organic solvent, which has a high molecular weight, and a narrow molecular weight distribution, and a decreased amount of monomers. The method for preparing acryl resin comprises radical polymerizing (meth)acrylic acid ester(a) and a monomer comprising at least one polar functional groups selected from the group consisting of carboxyl, hydroxyl, amide, amino, epoxy, oxetanyl, aldehyde, and isocyanate groups, and one olefinically double bond in molecule(b), in the presence of organic solvent. In the method, during radical polymerization, organic solvent in the range of 5-100(parts by weight/hr) of R represented by the formula: R=[(AX(1-C)/C-100X(1-B)/B)/D]X100 is mixed to 100 parts by weight of the monomers used in the polymerization solution at initiation of polymerization.
