PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building designed for microclimate, which promotes ventilation and heat exhaust by effectively using natural energy, and which is excellent in energy-saving effect. SOLUTION: This building designed in consideration for the microclimate, which has upper and lower floors, is used for effectively using the natural energy. The building is equipped with a living room 4 which is arranged in or near the central section of the lower floor, and a dining room 5 and an entrance 2, which are arranged around the living room 4. A ceiling 9 of the living room 4 is formed higher than a ceiling 10 of the dining room 5 and a ceiling 11 of the entrance 2; openings K are provided in walls 8 for partitioning the living room 4, and the dining room 5 and the entrance 2, respectively; and vent holes S for taking in outside air are provided in the dining room 5 and the entrance 2, respectively.
