<p>An engine start device includes a generator (7), a battery (4) charged by the generator (7), a stator (1), and an electric dual-layer capacitor (5). The electric dual-layer capacitor (5) is connected between the stator (1) and the battery (4). A DC/DC converter (6) is further provided. The DC/DC converter (6) has an input terminal connected to the battery (4) and the electric dual-layer capacitor (5). The DC/DC converter (6) has an output terminal connected to the stator (1) and the electric dual-layer capacitor (5). According to voltage of the battery (4), the internal DC resistance of the battery (4), or the internal DC resistance of the electric dual-layer capacitor (5), the charge voltage of the electric dual-layer capacitor (5) is changed so as to stabilize voltage applied to a stator motor (2) and stabilize the engine start.</p> |
