A method and a system for transmitting a charged content present are provided to keep profit by preventing received content charges from refunding, as a sender selects and transmits charged contents fit for the DRM held by a receiver, and the receiver having no proper player consumes the received contents by converting the received content into other contents, cyber money, or cash. A user terminal(220) requests present transmission to the receiver by selecting the contents, receives/uses the received contents through the DRM, and requests conversion of the received contents. A content server(210) transmits the selected contents to the receiver user terminal when the sender user terminal requests the present transmission and enables the receiver user terminal to use the transmitted contents by downloading the DRM fit for the player of the receiver user terminal. A licensing DRM server(230) provides the DRM for using the contents to the receiver or sender user terminal. The content server prevents the paid content character from refunding by making the receiver user terminal convert the transmitted contents into other contents or the cyber money. |
