In a vaporisation method, a cryogenic liquid is heated and vaporised by heat exchange with air, 31,33, the exiting vapour 40 subsequently being further heatable by heat exchange with a heated liquid stream 106. This method may further feature a second heated liquid stream, heating (110, fig.3) the air 31,33, before it is passed into the heat exchanger 12,14. Also disclosed is a vaporisation method in which cryogenic liquid is heated and vaporised by heat exchange with air, with the air to be passed into the heat exchanger first being heated 110 by heat exchange with a heated liquid stream, without heater 106. Also disclosed is a vaporization system, in which cryogenic liquid is heated and vaporised by heat exchange with air, featuring an air heat exchanger, the exiting cryogenic gas vapour being heated by a further heater, the heater of unspecified type. |
