A splittable polyester conjugate fiber and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to offer the superior dimensional stability by heat treatment. The softening point of the first component is lower than that of the second component and made of an amorphous polymer. In the first component, a melting point peak is not generated. The first component has the lower crystallization degree and the superior heat fixing property. The second component is made of polyester, especially a copolymer polyester polymer with a glass transition point of 60-80 degrees in centigrade and the softening point of below 200 degrees in centigrade. |
