PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material having high sensitivity and improved resistance to harmful gas produced during combustion, such as automobile exhaust gas. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material contains at least one compound which is a heterocyclic compound having one or more hetero atoms, and achieves higher sensitivity when the compound is added than does when not added, and contains a silver halide emulsion containing silver halide grains having such a halogen content as≥80% bromide chemically sensitized with at least one compound which is a compound having a bond of an anionic chalcogenide and a gold (I) cation and releases a gold-chalcogen anion species.
