The device has a unit with a blocking unit (111) and applied on a sliding leaf (5) of a woodwork e.g. sliding door, in correspondence with an edge (51) of the leaf which is maintained within a metallic receiving caisson of the leaf. A unit (12) having blocking units is applied in correspondence with a base part (61) of the caisson arranged against the edge. The blocking units are arranged against each other and have a magnetic field generator and parts sensitive to an action of a magnetic field, where the generator and the parts cooperate with each other. An independent claim is also included for a woodwork having a blocking device. |
