FIELD: medicine, experimental cardiopharmacology. ^ SUBSTANCE: in experiments on rats one should carry out functional tests of endothelium-dependent vasodilation (EDVD) at introducing acetyl choline at the dosage of 40 mcg/kg and endothelium-independent vasodilation (EIVD) at introducing nitroprusside at the dosage of 30 mcg/kg. Moreover, endothelial dysfunction should be calculated by the following formula: where CED - coefficient of endothelial dysfunction; SAP NP - the area of a triangle being above the curve of AP reconstruction, moreover, the points of smaller leg are the ones of maximal AP decrease and the point of AP plateau level during carrying out functional test at introducing nitroprusside, SAP AC - the area of triangle being above the curve of AP reconstruction, moreover, the smallest leg is considered to be the difference between the point of the end of cardiac component and that of AP reconstruction while carrying out functional test at introducing acetyl choline at the dosage of 40 mcg/kg, moreover, in intact rats CED corresponds to 1.1±0.1, and in rats with modeled endothelial dysfunction CED corresponds to 5.4±0.6. The innovation enables to objectively evaluate the degree of endothelial dysfunction in the experiment on rats. ^ EFFECT: higher accuracy of evaluation. ^ 4 dwg, 1 ex, 2 tbl |
