PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a wireless LAN board 60 from receiving noise due to a radio wave from a wireless communication unit 81. SOLUTION: While the wireless communication unit 81 for a slave device of telephone is arranged at a rear corner part 2B of a primary body case 2, made of synthetic resin, of an image forming apparatus 1, a storage space enclosed with its front plate 26b, a sheet metal box 101 covering the outer periphery of a power supply substrate 91, and a sheet metal member 73 for lower shield which has a main control board 61 held on its top surface and is arranged nearly horizontally above the sheet metal box 101 is formed in front of a front corner part 2A at a position diagonal to the rear corner part 2B in the primary body case 2, and the wireless LAN board 60 is arranged in the storage space in a portrait manner so that one wide surface faces the front plate 2b.
