PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared bulb having high reliability that will not break, even if it is used for a long time. SOLUTION: This infrared bulb include a heating element formed of a rod-like body; a heat radiation means for radiating heat from the heating element; a glass tube for enclosing the heating element and the heat radiation means; and an internal lead wire electrically connected to the heat radiation means. The internal lead wire is constituted of a coil-like part, wound around and fastening the outside of an insertion position of the heat radiation means with the heating element inserted therein for fixing the heating element and the heat radiation means; and a spring-like part formed between the coil-like part and an electrode and wound more roughly than the coil-like part.
