The grinding disc (1a, 1b) has grinding elements (17) for grinding objects and pumping segments (4) which are used and placed for pumping a fluid during grinding in a radial direction of the grinding disc or the grinding wheel from inside to outside. The pumping segments are arranged so that the fluid provides a speed increase due to the radially outward shape of the grinding elements.
