PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission body that can transmit images with little bleeding due to chromatic aberrations and that has a large difference of refractive index between the center and the outer circumference. SOLUTION: This is a columnar optical transmission body with a radius R in which a refractive index is continuously reduced from the center to the outer circumference. In the range of 0-0.8R, the difference in the Abbe constants between the part with the highest Abbe constant and the part with the lowest is≤2. The optical transmission body is constituted of a polymer containing, as component units in the range of 0.5R-R, (A) methyl methacrylate, and/or (B) (meth)acrylate containing alicyclic group and/or t-butyl methacrylate, and (C) fluorinated alkyl methacrylate. The content of fluorinated alkyl methacrylate in the total polymer is 0-20 wt.% in a range of 0.5R-0.8R, and is 20-60 wt.% in a range of 0.99R-R. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
