摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for correcting the position of a substrate for multi-area subdividing which can perform an operation rapidly and precisely with regard to subdivided substrates of the substrate for multi-area subdividing and avoid the complication of a configuration of working machines, and a screen printing machine. SOLUTION: Each two reference marks 122 are put correspondingly to each of the subdivided substrates 120 constituting the substrate 30 for multi-area subdividing, and based on a photographed image, the mean value of each positional deviation level in the X axis direction and the Y axis direction of the reference mark 122 in such a state that the rotary positional deviation of the substratge 30 is removed, is calculated. Next, in such a case that there is at least one subdivided substrate 120, with the absolute value, of a difference between the positonal deviation level of the corresponding reference mark 122 and the average value of the positional deviation level, exceeding a tolerable range, the positional deviation correction level to a screen 40 for the substrate 30, is calculated in disregard of at least one reference mark 122 for the subdivided substrate 120 of them. After that, the position of the substrate 30 is registered with the screen 40 and thus the register precision is enhanced with regard to the subdivided substrates 120 other than the subdivided substrate 120 whose reference mark 122 is disregarded.
