PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a resonator which is simple in configuration and protected against a positional misalignment and whose soldered joint is high enough in mechanical strength, and to provide a mounting method of a resonator. SOLUTION: In the resonator mounting structure, a resonator 6 is arranged in such a manner that a cylindrical dielectric body 6a is brought down so as to be positioned lengthwise between a pair of first lands 4a provided onto the circuit board 1, an external conductor 6b provided on the circumferential surface of the cylindrical dielectric body 6a is soldered to the first lands 4a, so that the cylindrical dielectric body 6a is automatically corrected for its tilt by a surface tension of solder when solder provided to the first lands 4a is melt, and the mounting structure can be provided which is protected against a positional misalignment.
