PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a runner catcher capable of easily applying proper engagement capturing force corresponding to its door panels even to the various door panels different in weight still in a state of suspending the door panels. SOLUTION: This runner catcher has a capturing force adjusting mechanism for changing and adjusting engagement capturing force to a runner 6 of a pair of elastic arms 36 and 36. The capturing force adjusting mechanism includes a pair of support arms 37 and 37 arranged in parallel to the elastic arms 36 and 36 and a regulating body 26 installed so as to be slidingly displaceable along the support arms 37 and 37 and regulating expansively opening-shaped deflective deformation of the elastic arms 36 and 36. The engagement capturing force to the runner 6 of the elastic arms 36 and 36 can be changed and adjusted stepwise by changing the substantial dimensional length of a tip area of the deflectively deformable elastic arms 36 and 36 in the large and small sizes by slidingly operating the regulating body 26 in the lateral direction along the support arms 37 and 37.
