摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a method for electronically minimizing or removing the performance deviation of a device such as an electronically-controlled fuel injector which can be controlled with a control signal. SOLUTION: The method comprises steps of measuring total properties including a timing property and a supply amount property of the fuel injector 22 in a plurality of operating conditions, of adjusting the control signal as the function of the measured total properties to adjust a basic timing and a period, namely, the pulse width of a fuel supply order signal for the fuel injector, and of controlling the device to reduce its performance deviation in accordance with the adjusted control signal. One structure is disclosed which compensates, namely, adjusts a deviation for a single injector. The structure includes an electronic control module having a memory for storing an adjustment sinal for each injector.
