A system for reversely tracking virus is provided to minimize damage caused from network diffusion of worm virus by removing or curing a source of the worm virus while automatically curing an upper infected client of the infected client by reversely tracking an infection path through a received mail list of the infected client. An email address extractor(115) extracts an email address of a host client system transmitting the email including the worm virus if the worm virus is found in the client system. A transmitter transmits the extracted email address of the host client system to the server. The server transmits a virus warning email and/or virus curing vaccine to the email address of the host client system.
