PRESSING DEVICE FOR FIXING NUT TO PIPE MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily automated pressing device for fixing a nut to a pipe material. SOLUTION: The proximal end part of a long-length lower die 6 fittingly holding a pipe material 60 is supported to the heel side of a lower block 2 with permitted vertical movement. The device is provided with: a lifter 30 which pressingly supports the nose part of the lower die 6 in an attitude of slightly lifting the same; a stopper 3 which pressingly supports the intermediate part of the lower die 6 in an attitude of slightly lifting the same, and also positioning the pipe material 60 fitted to the lower die 6; a nut feeding path 10 provided at the outside face of the lower die 6; a pusher 14 stored at the inside of the nose part of the lower die 6; a cam working lever 21 in which a gradient cam face 22 provided at the tip part extrudes the pusher 14 to a nut feeding position 12; a driving means 25 for the cam working lever 21; an upper die 3 provided freely movably to a direction orthogonal to the axis line of the lower die 6; a calking die 47 fitted to the upper die 3; and a driving means 50 for the calking die.
