PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human body communication system capable of realizing audio transmission by way of a human body with comfort, high communication quality and security, at low power consumption. SOLUTION: A transmitter for transmitting information signals by way of a human body comprises an audio signal modulating part which modulates audio signals to the frequency band of 500MHz-3GHz, and a parallel plate transmission electrode whose top surface is made from conductive nonfabric or conductive fabric for outputting the modulation signal. A receiver for receiving information signals by way of a human body comprises a reception electrode whose top surface is made from a conductive nonfabric or conductive fabric for receiving the modulation signal, a demodulation part for demodulating audio modulation signal that is received, and an audio reproducing part for reproducing audible sound from the demodulated signal.
