<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a physical quantity detector capable of satisfying both of a wide dynamic range and high detecting accuracy and moreover detecting physical quantity with sufficient accuracy in measuring range met users request. <P>SOLUTION: The physical quantity detector is presented that is equipped with a measuring means 6 measuring any physical quantity, a converting means converting the measured physical quantity of aforementioned to a primary signal 7 using conversion coefficients in accordance with the physical quantity measured by means of a measuring means and a recovering means recovering the aforementioned physical quantity based on the primary signal converted with reference to the conversion coefficient. On the occasion when the physical quantity is once converted to any other physical quantities (primary signals), by changing the conversion coefficient according to the physical quantities concerned, for example even if it is one signal transmission line, measurement of a extent demanded in a wide range of physical quantity becomes possible with sufficient accuracy.
