PURPOSE: A controller mounting structure is provided to allow the controller to be easily mounted on the front plate, while reducing parts count by eliminating the necessity of using an additional coupling member for mounting the controller. CONSTITUTION: A controller mounting structure comprises a cavity having a cooking chamber and an electrical component chamber, and a plurality of stopper slots(54) formed on a front plate(55); a controller(80) having hooks(82) arranged at the positions corresponding to the positions of the stopper slots, which controls a cooking operation; and an outer case having an elastic bending portion arranged at the front end of the outer case so as to permit the front plate of the cavity to be inserted into the elastic bending portion, wherein the outer case is mounted in the cavity so as to form an outer appearance of a microwave oven. At least one of the hooks of the controller is inserted into the stopper slot and pressed and fixed by the elastic bending portion of the outer case.
