<p>An electron emission device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve color purity and color representation by coating an insulating layer on a focusing electrode by using a sol-gel method. A first and second substrates(2,4) are disposed opposite to each other. A plurality of first and second electrodes(6,10) are formed on both sides of a first insulating layer(8). A plurality of electron emission units(12) are connected with the first electrodes or the second electrodes. A focusing electrode(18) is formed on a second insulating layer(14). An insulating layer(20) is formed on the focusing electrode. A phosphor layer(22) is formed on the second substrate. An anode electrode is formed on one side of the phosphor layer.</p> |
